A Sensor with Quick and Intuitive Connection

Connected in seconds to the ShipBase™ boat dashboard via its 3 connection wires on the detachable Onewire network connector, this temperature sensor is instantly identified by ShipBase™ thanks to its unique factory-programmed identifier. Customizable, it can be renamed at any time by its user.

Precise Onboard Temperature Measurements

This sensor provides highly precise measurements over a wide range and requires no calibration at startup. This data, available at all times, is stored indefinitely in ShipBase.

An Onboard Alert Function

Setting up custom threshold alerts can be done when the temperature detected on the vessel:

  • exceeds a determined level (e.g., on a pump),
  • falls below a critical threshold (e.g., to detect the risk of freezing),
  • goes outside a predefined range (e.g., on a refrigerator).

This water presence sensor with a detachable connector is placed in the bilge of the boat to detect any water ingress on board (near stuffing boxes, keel joints, thru-hulls…).

A Sensor with Simple Design and Installation

This water presence sensor consists of two conductive tracks – gold-plated, to limit their oxidation – that face each other. Comparable to a marine probe, it can be mounted either with its supplied double-sided tape, with screws, or by both when possible. Its detachable connector with spring terminals makes its installation on a vessel quick and reliable over time.

It connects to the ShipBase™ boat dashboard on one of the 32 auxiliary inputs. It is therefore entirely possible to install several sensors of this type (especially when the bilge areas are separated into non-communicating compartments).

Permanent Onboard Measurements

The status of each water presence sensor is continuously measured. Alerts or specific actions (e.g., pump start) can be configured in a few clicks on the ShipBase screen.
